Coronavirus 2

I understand that the government may be proposing that people over 70 will have to arrange for their medications to be delivered. My guess is that the majority of people over 70 have at least one prescribed item. Add to this that my G P tells me that the health authority forbid him from prescribing more than 28 days supply of any particular drug, this despite the fact that I will be taking some of my medication for the rest of my life, however long that may be!

Would it not make sense and ease the huge logistical problems if the restriction limiting the amount prescribed to that required for 28days was relaxed? #medicines over 70s.

It is a worry I take warfarin and have done for the past 28yrs on it for life people .over 70us ar’nt going to run a muck with prescription most can hardly walk let alone run for anything . It’s peace of mind for them and carers alike

I do sympathise. I have 3 tablets for life but can only get 28 days supply at once. I take an alternative to warfarin which makes life much easier. I am no medic but worth investigating. It is Apixaban.
